About Sidra

DHTI created Sidra project under our Community Wellness program to increase healthcare access and promote mental health services to underserved and marginalized communities. Sidra was launched in July 2019 with funding from Alameda County’s Mental Health Services Act under the Prevention & Early Intervention Un/Underserved Ethnic and Language Populations initiative. Sidra promotes healing, wellness and mental health among Arab, and Persian speaking communities living in the Alameda County.

Our Goal

To help Arabic and Persian speaking communities achieve a dignified life to which they aspire by addressing the challenges posed by immigrating to the U.S. through providing social and psychological supports.
