Healthcare Career Pathways
DHTI’s Healthcare Career Pathways program connects newcomers with healthcare background to re-enter or enter healthcare careers in the United States. We partner with educators and employers to provide YOU with FREE training in allied healthcare courses, prepare you with work-readiness workshops and PAID internship or on-the-job training, and help you navigate for a healthcare career!
Community Wellness
DHTI’s Community Wellness program connects immigrant, refugee, and asylee communities to social services and mental health resources. We strive to create healthier communities for all!
Since 2011, DHTI was established to address the shortage of qualified healthcare workers who can meet the language and cultural needs of the growing immigrant population in East Bay, Northern California.
OUR VISION is to create a more diverse and inclusive healthcare system in the U.S., AND tackle the inequitable health outcomes faced by immigrants and limited-English speakers. These underserved populations experience higher rates of misdiagnosis and inadequate treatment - leading to chronic illness and underutilization of mental health services. We aim to improve health outcomes and increase access to healthcare services, especially for underserved immigrant populations and marginalized groups.
